Mount Rinjani 3D/2N via Sembalun

The adventure begins early with a 5:00 AM pick-up if you're staying in Senggigi or 7:00 AM if you're in Senaru. From there, you’ll be driven to Sembalun, the starting point of your trek.

The trail initially leads through open fields, offering awe-inspiring views of Mount Rinjani’s towering summit. From the mountain's base, the climb gradually ascends to Base Camp III, where porters will prepare a delicious lunch.

The journey continues with a steep ascent through varying landscapes, transitioning from barren grasslands to shaded woodlands. The day ends at the crater rim campsite, where you’ll enjoy a hearty dinner, preparing you for the exhilarating summit climb early the next morning after a well-deserved rest.

At 2:30 AM, your guide will wake you with a hot drink and a light breakfast to fuel your summit climb. By 3:00 AM, you’ll begin the trek to the peak, perfectly timed to witness the breathtaking sunrise from Mount Rinjani’s summit. The panoramic views are unforgettable, with Java visible on one side and Bali on the other.

On the descent, take time to admire the stunning Segara Anak Lake and the dramatic volcanic cone. After returning to the campsite for breakfast, the journey continues with a three-hour descent to the Crater Lake. Here, you’ll have the chance to relax in the rejuvenating hot springs and visit a nearby waterfall.

Following a brief walk around the lake, the trek resumes with a climb up to the Senaru Crater Rim. From this vantage point, enjoy awe-inspiring views of the crater rim, summit, and lake before settling in for another overnight stay amidst the spectacular scenery.

Wake up to the spectacular sunrise over Mount Rinjani and enjoy the stunning views before heading back to Base Camp III for your final meal – a well-needed lunch. The last part of the journey takes you through a tropical rainforest for about three hours, leading you back to the road that will take you to Senaru. Congratulate yourself on this amazing achievement! You will then be transferred back to your hotel in Senggigi.
